Yoga is probably the only system that uses the physical body as a vehicle to reach the highest stage of spiritual consciousness. Yoga believes it is the spinal column that holds the secret path to knowledge and liberation. This is supposed to contain three nadis or channels called Ida, Pingala and Sushumna.

In an ordinary human being, the Sushumna is closed and only the Ida and Pingala, which correspond to the left and right nostrils, operate. He spinal cord has the following chakras or wheels situated over its length.

This is the second in a series on martial arts striking combinations used as choreography in cardio kickboxing. As said, a key difference between a trained martial artist and a streetfighter is that the martial artist reflexively hits in sequences of three or four moves. The instinctive non-thinking reaction isn’t just a one-move event, its a more effective practiced sequence of strikes. One punch or kick is easy to defend against, but three or four thrown in a row can be very difficult to deal with.

No More Hard Closing

It’s 4:30 pm, I’ve been up since 4:30 am. I am tired and can barely keep my eyes open
but it doesn’t matter.

The evening rush of members are about to fly through the doors,
fires will need to be put out and members will
have to be closed on training whether they want it or not.

I need to be on, filled with energy and motivation
not only for myself but for 30 other personal trainers. Alas, so is the day in the life of a Personal Training Manager.
