Your depression will be cured with the new attitude you will adopt in your life henceforth, because humanity needs you and because you need a purpose in your life.

As you can observe, our world is a very sad place, where you cannot be happy as you imagined when you were a child. Here, things are very difficult and nothing is as the way you wish it would be.

You must have the attitude of a hero because you have an obligation to be a hero in a world on the brink of complete destruction by human indifference and disrespect as well as futility and hypocrisy.

Colours And Chakras In The Human Body

April 15th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Health and Fitness

Yoga is probably the only system that uses the physical body as a vehicle to reach the highest stage of spiritual consciousness. Yoga believes it is the spinal column that holds the secret path to knowledge and liberation. This is supposed to contain three nadis or channels called Ida, Pingala and Sushumna.

How To Choose A Good Vitamin Supplement

March 27th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Health and Fitness

There are innumerable patented vitamin supplements available in the market, but what is essential to us is to be determined, after properly understanding the relevance of supplements. The first and foremost concept is that the nutritional supplements are not food and do not take the place of real food. They are only boosters to our food.

Studies have revealed that vitamins from the natural food sources are having an absorption level of 77 to 93 per cent, while supplements have only 10 per cent absorption. Similarly, the minerals through natural plant sources have absorption level up to 63 to 78 per cent, while the artificial supplements have only 1 to 5 per cent.

Melanomas - Visible And Invisible

March 15th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Health and Fitness

Melanoma is essentially skin cancer. If detected early
enough, it can be cured in ninety-five percent of the
cases. However, it can also be fatal if allowed to run its
course. Melanomas can be almost invisible in some cases, so
a cursory examination is not effective in some cases.
Hidden melanomas are, fortunately, relatively rare.

All melanomas are formed from cells that produce pigment.
These are called melanocytes. So the cancer can develop
wherever there is pigmentation in the body. Hidden
melanomas can occur in difficult to detect parts of the
body, hence the need to do a thorough check annually.

How To Get Rid Of Negative Thinking

March 11th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Self Improvement

I grew up in a family that wore their negativity like a proud shield. I remember my beloved grandmother and her friends almost boosting about how bad life was as if it was a contest, who had the most aches and pains or the worst finances or problems with their children. They didn’t realize they were negative and they certainly didn’t realize the effect this negativity had on their life. This is the way it was and it was handed down from generation to generation. My older sister and I would sit in church every Sunday making fun of people (we may have looked angelic, but we weren’t!). For us it was a good time to poke fun at the ladies beehives and people’s outfits until my parents separated us in the pew. What we didn’t realize is that we were honing our critical skills, and negative thoughts. Then there are the people that make conversation by criticizing (we all know some). You could give them a million dollars and they’d still find something to complain about. They look at everything with a “what can I find wrong with this situation” attitude. They truly don’t know how to be happy, so they do everything they can to stay in the comfortable place they know so well, being unhappy.

Asians In Texas May Be Seven Times More Likely To Develop Cancer

February 24th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Health and Fitness

Asian-Americans may be seven times as likely to be diagnosed with certain cancers, according to the American Cancer Society and Melissa McCracken, first author of a study focusing on cancer rates in the U.S.’s Asian population, released earlier this week in CA, a Cancer Journal for Clinicians.

While Asian-Americans have a lower overall incidence rate of cancer than other ethnic populations in the U.S., the disease is still a main cause of death for the group and accounts for more fatalities than heart disease. Stomach and liver cancers, for instance, are much more likely to occur in the United States’ Asian population.
