Nokia 6210 Navigator In Detail

June 20th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Arts and Entertainment

The 6210 Navigator is supposed to inherit its successor–Nokia 6110 navigator. The new product is the company’s first mobile device that is GPS-enabled (A-GPS also is onboard) with the integrated compass designed for the pedestrian guidance. The Nokia 6210 Navigator arrives along with the Nokia Maps 2.0, and includes visual turn and full voice by turn guidance without any additional cost. Combined with the accelerometer, detecting the changes in orientation and direction, the integrated compass makes it an easy job to follow the map while exploring your surroundings on foot. When you make the device upside down or sideways, the map maintains its orientation automatically. It is a cool feature by all means.

Recently I watched a guy driving at high speed along an Ontario highway who appeared to be dead. His head was slumped off to one side and his eyes looked to be trained on the floor of the car. However despite some minor weaving, his vehicle managed to stay on a more or less straight trajectory which implied that he was alive and navigating, presumably by squinting off to one side as he busily text messaged the boss or possibly a prospective date.
