Article Submission Tips - 3 Things That You Can Go Wrong When Submitting Your Articles
Many marketers talk about article writing, how to speed up the process and ideas to market articles, etc., but almost none of them talks about article submission. The fact is submitting articles correctly is as important as writing and marketing.
I noticed that many article authors make these mistakes when it come to article submission:
1. Procrastination and perfectionism
Don’t laugh. This may not be directly related to article submission, but the quest of perfection often leads to procrastination. When you procrastinate, more things start to crawl in and time flies. I remember the day when I successfully broke the circle, I was able to do two years worth of tasks in three months time.
Article marketing works only if you take action. If you still have articles sitting around your hard drive gaining virtual dust, submit it today!
2. Fail to do keyword research
Article directories often have keywords fields where you can enter the keywords you’re targeting in the article. It helps the site to return targeted result when the visitors use the search function on the site.
Researching keywords is important because you may not know what your readers search to find your site or have in mind when searching for articles. Only by looking at the real data from search engines should you be able to scientifically know which keywords are used.
3. Rush through it
Article submission is repetitive and boring, but it’s not to be taken lightly. Often people overlook the importance of it that they rush through the process. For example, rather than rewrite the author resource box to make it match between content and offer, often article authors just use what they already have.
This could result in a decrease of response although many people may read the article.
