Improve Speaking Skills

I’m going to help you improve your speaking skills by giving you the know how on all the little public speaking tricks. Public speaking is one of the hardest ways to communicate, so when you get this down, all speaking becomes easy.
- Provoke People: This is something most people don’t want to do in a good or bad way. I think a lot of people have this social boundary where they just won’t push something. It seems like “manipulating” someone to an emotional state of action, but it really isn’t that negative. We want to provoke people. When someone hears you speak, you want them to get to the point of action, either good or bad. You need to have the confidence to do this because it really is away to connect with the audience.
- Story Telling: This is a very powerful way to improve speaking skills. The ability to tell a story can really improve your communication and rapport with an audience. If you just talk about facts, you’re going to bore people. But if you talk about a story, you’re going to show people the “real” you. You’re going to get the point across and they’re going to love you for it.
- Eye Contact: Make sure you’re in front of everyone, making contact with everyone. I know some people will only do it with the front row or with just a few people in the crowd. The point is that you need to try and make eye contact everywhere. Having your head down the whole time just makes you look unconfident. Eye contacting is another way to connect with people.
